Welcome back, this is part two.

Long hours, no rest (or peace) and human beings practically at war against time and each other in the attempt to get their hands on whatever that has caught their eye.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we bring you the holy grail of shopping adventures and misadventures.

This guide ultimately decides your fate - will you go home as a traumatised victim or a survivor?

#5 Your best weapon is your ability to compliment him/her

“Yes, this one!” “That looks amazing on you” “No, that does not make you look fat all”

As the penguins of Madagascar would say, “Smile and wave, boys. Just smile and wave,”. This trick may turn out to be the best one yet. Make your guy/girl happy and the entire experience will be absolutely fantastic! Just remember to smile through the pain and compromise; sometimes white lies aren’t all that bad!

#6 Make use of your time

Do something more productive while he/she is at it.

Do your own (Window)shopping, catch a movie, update your Facebook/Instagram timeline or heck go on ahead and have a meeting with the insurance company. Shopping takes a while. Trust us, he/she won’t even notice you are gone. Just make sure to return when you're finished.

#7 Bring enough cash

Or better yet, go cashless.

Nothing’s worse than being relieved that day's finally coming to an end, only to find out that your significant other does not have enough cash at the payment counter. Then you look into your wallet and you realize that neither do you. Talk about anti-climactic - and you thought the worst was over.

#8 Motivate yourself

What’s in this for you?

What are you in this for? We applaud you if "love" is the first thing that comes into mind. Otherwise, let’s strive to be business-savvy and paint your own rainbow after the storm. Set up an agreement with your partner - we think a well-earned dessert and stay-in movie night after every shopping trip sounds perfect.
