The Marvel Journey
Throughout the course of eleven years, Marvel has done an amazing job in making audience and fans all around the world fall in love with the characters and the story line of all their movies.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) feature films are made into three phases broadly known as “The Infinity Saga.” The franchise has expanded to 22 films and made more than $18.9 billion at the global box office.
Iron Man which was released in 2008, was the first feature film that kicked start the Marvel journey. Besides introducing the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Iron Man also introduced War Machine, Nick Fury and other significant characters in the MCU, characters that grew to be a major part of the franchise.

As more Marvel films were made, more characters from the comics were introduced and portrayed in the best way possible. This includes the colorful costumes of the superheroes, the skillful and tactical fight scenes and the best actors and actresses for the roles.
The movies are still able to capture and retain audience’s attention based on their vivid and exuberant tone. From their astounding visual effects to their trend of post-credit scenes which leaves film goers wanting more due to the notion of a cliff-hanger leaving them perplexed.
An example can be seen from the first Avengers film which features ‘Thanos’, the villain of the third Avengers installment; Infinity War.
Other than the film franchise, MCU has their own television series such as Marvel’s agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel’s Jessica Jones that explores more of the characters in the films and introduces new characters.

For now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe wraps up its first decade with the final Avengers film; Endgame. As Endgame left every Marvel fan heart broken, with heavy hearts we bid adieu to the six founding members of this great media franchise.
Regardless, everyone will still be able to enjoy watching the films in the coming years.
