It was inevitable, of course an obvious. Bound to happen someday. But why so often? I feel like a ship that consecutively hits on different icebergs, in a sequence, but never sinks. What did I do to deserve this pathetic fallacy! And it looks like I’m stuck, in a causal loop.
I was forcefully thrown out of my apartment a day before, because of some events that intervened with my neighbours intimate “outside marriage” relationship. If you detect frustration and drama in the prologue, I’ll tell you why I’m frustrated.
Because it had to be me, Tina – a 23-year-old junior architect who became the first person in the world to rent a house with a haunted bathtub.
Now, a haunted house is one thing. Even an extraordinary haunted castle can be livable in. In a house, if there’s a spirit around, which wants to slash you with its axe by mentioning the obvious ‘Here’s Johnny!’ you can lock yourself in the bathroom and protect yourself, also is a perfect place to tinkle. But In my case, the bathtub is haunted and guess what! Right now, I’m sitting on my toilet seat just opposite to it and recording my narration.
Let me narrate, what exactly happened here and why is this a haunted bathtub! After a long research, I found this story from some fancy online article:
‘It happened 2 years back, during fall, the season of death. A girl from the nearby university moved into this house. Things were fine until she found out the terrifying truth about the place she inhabited. “Few decades back, this house was a central hub for the people who were involved in black magic rituals, facts said that these psychopaths kidnap virgin girls, strip them naked, tie them to the bathtub and brutally rape them with a knife tied on to their manhood.” The traumatic fact about the house gave her chills. Even though she was mentally traumatized by the fact that she collected about the house, she did not believe in ghosts or anything related to it.
That night, she was in the bathtub, gazing at the ceiling. Suddenly, her phone vibrated. There was one unread message from an unknown number, she opened the message and finds a blurry image of distorted smoke with a thin curved black line.
She finds out in a swish that the image was the soap mixed water from her bathtub with one of her hair floating on it. She was completely spooked and a moment after, she receives another shock in a form of vaginal blood emerging from her bottom and staining the water. She couldn’t move her body, she felt like some external force was not allowing her body to move, she couldn’t either shout or scream.
Somehow, she managed to pick her phone, but with the images of her brutally massacred body lying scattered in the bath tub. Adrenalin rushed through her veins due to the extreme horror and by breaking all the dark force which were compelling her to stay put, she escaped!
She couldn’t bear the shock and she did not want to become a prey for the bullies by sharing this exposure with anyone. Days after, she went through a therapy called “Memory Erasure” which will help erase the selective memories. She did not want anybody to know about this, including herself. Nobody knows where she lives now, or what she does. Out of respect we did not reveal her photograph. Life showed its brutal side to a 20-year-old architecture student, Ti…’
