The color palette for Valentine’s is always the same, it’s all about the pinks, the reds and the burgundys, so the look is based on that.
First, light a nice-smelling candle to get yourself in romantic mood. This Diptyque one smells really nice, but it’s on a pricier side, keep that in mind. Now, while you still have time, do your nails using this gorgeous shade of dark red called Rouge Noir by Chanel.
I know a lot of girls prefer to go all out on Valentine’s and dress up, but there are also the ones that want to be comfy, right? So put on your favorite statement tee, this one from Modekungen is a good example) and instead of wearing a regular pair of jeans, go for a berry-colored mini skirt from Boohoo ! Put on this pair of comfortable yet cute sneakers from Puma, throw on your favourite jean jacket and you are good to go.
Oh wait… Am I forgetting something? Right, the accessories! No Valentine’s Day look is complete without it. Add a little sparkle with these stud earrings from J.Crew and don’t forget about your phone, it deserves to look good on this special day too! Keep it cosy in this adorable case from Charles & Keith.
Now onto the handbag. Let’s keep it casual and go for a simple black backpack from John Lewis. As for makeup, warm tones have been in for the last couple of seasons, so overall go for the sunset colors. Throw on a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses from Betsey Johnson as a last touch and you are ready to conquer boys’ hearts.
Have fun this Valentine’s Day!
-love you-
