I was intoxicated when I met her
she was sober when she walked in
Our eyes met
And the mysteries of this world
Seemed to unravel
For the briefest of moments
She held my gaze
And gave me that smile
Which made me feel like
Finally I wasn’t alone
That I had completed my soul.
She became my soul reason for existence
And with persistence she was finally mine.
I could hear the sounds and I could see the smell , it the best high I got .
The sparks when she reached for my fingers were felt all the way down to my spine .
The lingering smell of her naked body on mine refused to leave my room, hours after she would leave.
I lost track of how many sweatshirts of mine were in her wardrobe.
And I lost track of how many times we whispered I love you under our breath.
Love is a beautiful feeling and lucky are those who can love the same person all their life .
