1. 20th Century Women (2016)

This movie is based on the 1970s era, showing three women with a teenage boy who live in one town, having different kinds of personalities. When the teenage boy had confusions with all sorts of things in life, these three women approach the issue in a different way and also learn from themselves on how the life is. The lead actress, Annette Bening acted as the teenage boy’s mom, where she struggles on being a single mom and feeling guilty to her son that he does not have a father to be with. 2. Lady Bird (2017)

This movie is nominated for Best Picture in the annual Academy Awards 2018. It shows one girl, Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson, who hates to live in her hometown and wants to get out of the place and live in New York. It shows the confusion that every 18-year-old young adults have, including the writer himself. ‘Lady Bird’ shows how to deal with these issues in a smart way, but also gives us the lesson about the importance of yourself, and people who care about you. Although you might not like where you are living in right now, you are going to miss that place someday when you move to other places. The actress, Saoirse Ronan portrayed the character as Lady Bird very well, making people empathise the character. The director Greta Gerwig, wrote a marvellous script that touched the audience.
