The definition of meme is an image, video or a piece of text, which is typically humorous in nature, which is being copied and is able spread rapidly on to the internet using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and so on.

Some memes are made of GIF. GIF is an image file that supports both static image and animation which can be found on social media which is an interesting way to entertain their target audience. You can also find memes using funny text and funny images to entertain them by reading the text. Some memes can be made out of video which entertain most of their target audience and it makes people want to replay their video.

You can get memes from 9GAG or SGAG. Some memes I was able to relate to really made me laugh and it also serves as a form of entertainment. People can read funny memes which help them to cheer their mood up when they are having a bad day at work or having a bad day at school or people who are really bored while travelling or such.

People can create their own memes using photoshop, or doing their own memes online and they will share it on all their social media platform using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms. The pros of memes is that it helps to entertain their target audience on social media. Secondly, it grabs people's attention. Thirdly, it is easy to create memes to make it humorous.

The cons of memes firstly is that it can be annoying sometimes when people retweet the same memes over and over again on their social media. Secondly, some teenagers will use memes to directly hurt one of their classmates or friends whom they do not like in school and post it on social media and they will use the memes to send it to the group chats leading to cyberbullying. Thirdly, when people read memes, they may misinterpret the message.
