It is already the middle of May - what does it mean for all of us students out there? That’s right, it means summer break! It doesn’t matter if you are going somewhere on holidays or staying in Singapore, the outfit I came up with fits both options, because it is a beach day outfit! Nothing beats that lazy day on the beach with a nice book or good music. So let go of all of your problems and worries and check out this summer beach day look!

Summer Must-Have #1: The Swimsuit
What is the absolute must-have for any beach day? A good looking swimming suit of course! Black looks good on every skin colour, so if you want to look amazing on the beach without overthinking about your options, go for a black bikini! This playful bikini top has a v-shaped wiring in the front, which adds some spice to the look. Other than that the shape is classic and the cups do not have any padding inside which will ensure your comfort. To mach the top go for cheeky black bikini bottoms. The shape of this particular model leaves as much skin as possible uncovered, so that you would be able to get a nice tan on as much areas as you can.
Summer Must-Have #2: The Accessories
Sticking with black for everything would be very boring, so for the shoes I suggest you to go for something nice and colourful, like these pretty fabric sandals. And to get to the beach without exposing too much skin or having to wear a lot of clothes, you need a beach scarf. This vibrant one with palm leaves printed all over it looks suitable for the job. To avoid getting a heat stroke, you better have something to wear on your head. Like a nice straw hat, for example. This one with black hemming goes well with the black bikini set and will work just fine. Carry everything you need with a beach bag. Personally, I am pretty tired of all those basic tote bags, so how about going for something more fun this time instead? This big straw bag will fit everything you need and will not look out of place with any other summer outfit, so it is definitely a nice type of bag to have in your wardrobe.
Summer Must-Have #3: Sun Protection
On the beach,it is of course not advised to wear makeup. Who needs to worry about smudging and all of that while having good time in the water? However, you still do need to apply certain products. Sun protection is really important, no one wants to get skin cancer, right? Banana boat is a nice brand to go for when you’re looking for sun protection. It can be a regular sun screen, nice tanning oil, or, if you are like me and get burned anyway, a good after-sun aloe gel.
