TMZ reported that witnesses saw a Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from the rappers car and that he was found there with no pulse.

Ever since police released that the shooter was wearing a red mask, word was spread that rapper Soldier Kidd was involved with X’s death. This was due to fellow rapper Soldier JoJo and him posing with a red mask on Instagram shortly after X’s death. He also fit the description of the shooter.

XXXTentacions short lived music career was filled with allegations of domestic violence and abuse. His ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala accused him of hitting her when she was pregnant in 2016. Although he pleaded not guilty in court for those offences, he was arrested shortly after for breaching previous home arrest terms and was then sentenced and served almost six months in prison.
